Approach & Specialties

Buffy’s Office

I specialize in supporting individuals who face depression, anxiety, mood/behavioral issues, and trauma. My expertise lies in working with survivors of sexual trauma and abuse, offering compassionate guidance and utilizing evidence-based therapies such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help process and overcome past barriers.

Additionally, as an Addictions Specialist, I am committed to assisting those navigating substance use and recovery. Through education and empowering individuals to recognize their risk factors and compulsive behaviors, I strive to facilitate lasting behavior change.

My therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I am dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive space for all individuals, including members of the LGBTQ community and transgender individuals. Consider me an ally and advocate for your unique needs.
